Rodrygo's masterpiece: amazing dribbling and perfect finish

Rodrygo was instrumental in Real Madrid's win over Atlético in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. The forward levelled things up in the 79th minute with a great individual goal. Receiving wide of the area and with the ball close to his foot, he dribbled past four opponents before slotting past Oblak with the outside of his right foot.
 
Rodrygo expressed his delight at his goal after the game: "I can't remember exactly how it happened. Modrić played the ball to me. I've been told that I went past four opponents and then finished with the outside of my foot. I like being in that position and I managed to do that. I tried to do it in training and it came off for me".
 
"I captured Ronaldo's magic today and I hope that I can continue like this in the remaining matches".

"We're in very good shape physically. Pintus and the coaching staff are working very hard. We came back against a team that are not easy to play against".

“I was a bit sore before the game but I managed to play just fine. Then I stopped and it was painful again, so it was best to come off before the end. I’m fine”.
