Real Madrid and Tenerife supporting La Palma volcano victims

In response to the critical situation in which the inhabitants of the island of La Palma currently find themselves due to the eruption of the volcano, in October Real Madrid C. F. placed itself at the disposal of the Canary Islands regional government to help mitigate the devastating effects that this tragedy is having on numerous families.
 
As a result of the discussions held between Real Madrid and the Canary Islands regional government, and in collaboration with the Association of Former Real Madrid Players and C.D. Tenerife, the club's contribution has resulted in the organisation of a football match between the legends of the two clubs.
 
The match will raise funds to help those affected by the eruption of the volcano on the island of La Palma.
 
The match, which will be played on 17 December at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium, will be officially launched at a ceremony to be held on Thursday, 2 December, which will be attended by representatives and players from both clubs, among others.
