“It's brilliant news to have the fans back at the courts”, said the coach ahead of the meeting with Valencia Basket.
Pablo Laso spoke to Realmadrid TV ahead of the first game in the Endesa League semi-final series with Valencia Basket (Sunday, 6:30pm CEST). The coach reflected: “They're a team who play some great basketball, they have fantastic players in every position, good inside play and top shooters. They're a very complete team and are defensively organised. We have to put on a good display tomorrow and put the tie in our favour”.

“We're heading into a crucial moment in the season, the play-off semi-finals. We've got injuries to members of the squad who started the season. Llull and Laprovittola miss out with muscular issues and I don't know when they'll be back. We've got Juan Núñez back, who came from Valencia. The team is ready to compete with Valencia Basket”.
Fans' return

“Sport without fans is incomprehensible to me and we've been experiencing an unprecedented situation since March last year. It's fantastic to have fans, not just our own, coming back to the courts. It's just a shame we can't have more people in here but this is a step closer to normality”.
Best Regular Season coach

“I don't give much importance to individual awards. I like to see my players pick them up. I'm pleased and grateful for having won it. It reflects very well on the team's efforts this season. That's all I'm interested in".
