Real Madrid is the most decorated club in the history of this competition.

Real Madrid is the club that has won 23 European Cups as it has won 13 in football and 10 in basketball. In this sport, our team is also a symbol of success and leads an impressive list of achievements, which began in 1964 with the First European Cup and grew throughout the 21st century with the Ninth (2015) and Tenth (2018) European Cups.

The Tenth European Cup (20/05/2018)
Belgrade witnessed Real Madrid's victory in the final against Fenerbahce (85-80). It was the second title with Laso in charge and the confirmation of Doncic as a world star. The youngster was selected as MVP of the Final Four and best player in the Euroleague.


The Ninth European Cup (17/05/2015)
The Palacio de los Deportes experienced an unforgettable night with the victory for Madrid in the final against Olympiacos (78-59). Nocioni became part of our club's legend by being named the MVP of the final played at home.

The Eighth European Cup (13/04/1995)
Real Madrid reclaimed the continental title in the Final Four in Zaragoza. The team coached by Obradovic beat Olympiacos (73-61) with an exhibition from Sabonis, who was voted MVP.

The Seventh European Cup (27/03/1980)
Rullan (27 points) in the Berlin final (89-85) was decisive inthe win over . The Madrid players dominated the match and won their seventh European Cup. This victory was the second title in the top European competition as coach for Lolo Sainz.

The Sixth European Cup (06/07/1978)
Munich hosted the last final between Europe's two dominant teams of the 1970s. In the Fifth European Cup, Real Madrid beat Varese, although this time more comfortably (75-67) and with a great performance by Szczerbiak, who scored 26 points.

The Fifth European Cup (03/04/1974)
Real Madrid lifted the European Cup again six years after their previous win. This time it was in Nantes as they beat Varese in a tight final (84-82). Brabender was the top scorer for Ferrándiz's team with 22 points.

The Fourth European Cup (11/04/1968)
The victory over Spartak Brno in Lyon (98-95) confirmed the legendary status of a team that won its fourth European Cup in five seasons. The trio of Aiken (26 points), Luyk (24) and Brabender (22) excelled against the Czechs.[

The Third European Cup (01/04/1967)
With the final against Olimpia Milan being played at the Ciudad Deportiva stadium, Real Madrid celebrated the title in front of their fans. Emiliano, with 29 points, and Aiken (23) were the top scorers in Madrid’s 91-83 victory.

The Second European Cup (13/04/1965)
A year after the first trophy, Real Madrid once again came back to win the title. CSKA Moscow won the first leg (88-81) but in the return leg in Madrid, Ferrándiz's side won the European Cup thanks to a 76-62 victory. 

The First European Cup (10/5/1964)
Real Madrid had to overcome an 11-point deficit in the first leg (110-99) against Spartak Brno. The second leg took place at home and Emiliano (28 points) and Luyk (25) were the stars in the crucial 84-64 win.
