“We feel happy, satisfied becuase this is a tough place to come to”, added the madridista coach.
Zinedine Zidane spoke to the press after Real Madrid beat Celta de Vigo (1-3) at Balaídos. The Whites coach discussed the win in their LaLiga opener: “We played a well-rounded game from the off. We had to suffer with just 10 men on the pitch, but we feel happy, satisfied because this is a tough place to come to. Not many teams win here. We had a complicated preseason in terms of results, but it was good in terms of progress, today was a result of that progress”.

“We played well today and that was down to the team. The defensive work of Bale and Vinicius Jr. was important and then Isco and Lucas, who came on for them, did the same. They key was defending well, we knew that with the ball we would do damage”.

Team effort
"We all had a great game, now we're thinking about the rest of the season. Hazard's injury was bad luck and I wanted to have him here. Vinicius Jr. and Bale started up top with Karim, and they had a great game. Everyone did everything possible to defender the badge”.

“For now we are going to work with the players we have and think about the next game".
