NEWS | 11/04/2019

The Frenchman has scored nine times, topping the six he scored in 2013/14.
Benzema is having one of the best seasons of his career, and his goal scoring stats show this. The Frenchman is Real Madrid's top scorer on 26 goals. His ability in the air is an integral part of that. In the last two games, he has scored three headed goals and has nine so far this term.

The forward has scored the most headed goals in LaLiga, level with Stuani (6). He also scored two headers in the Champions League and another in the UEFA Super Cup (1). Until now, his best run came in 2013/14 when he netted six headers, followed by the five he scored in 2015/16. In total, he has scored 35 headers since he arrived at Real Madrid.

As well as his double against Éibar and his goal against Valencia in the last two games, Benzema has rifled home headers against Viktoria Plzen (2), Atlético, Leganés, Villarreal and Valladolid.
