"Thanks to Real Madrid for giving me the opportunity to coach these players", declared the Whites' coach.
Zinedine Zidane has received the distinction as The Best FIFA Men's Coach 2017 at the awards ceremony held in London. The Frenchman saw off competition from Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte in the final voting to take the accolade. The Madrid boss last season become the first coach to lift back-to-back Champions League crowns in a campaign in which he also delivered the LaLiga title, the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

So far this term he has steered the Whites to another UEFA Super Cup and a Spanish Super Cup. The winner of The Best FIFA Men's Coach award was decided by the votes cast by the captains and coaches of the affiliated national teams, the journalists who cover each national side and registered users from across the globe.

Zidane: "Thanks to Real Madrid"
"Antonio and Maximiliano, this award is also yours in part. I might have won it, but you two are also excellent. I want to thank my wife first and foremost, I really love you. Families are a special thing. I also have to give my thanks to Real Madrid for handing me the opportunity to coach these players. And thanks to you, my players. Many thanks".
