Basketball signings special - 2025-26
Okeke, Procida, Krämer and Maledon come in to strengthen the Real Madrid roster this season.
OKEKE
Atlanta, United States (18/08/1998)
A highly versatile player, capable of operating anywhere on court, though the best periods of his career have come at power forward. The 26-year-old is 2.01m tall, and comes in to strengthen the inside game. This will be Okeke's first experience of European basketball, following a long career in the NBA, where he's played for Orlando Magic, Philadelpia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
PROCIDA
Como, Italy (01/06/2002)
Coming in from ALBA Berlin, the forward was voted Euroleague's Young Player of the Year for the 2023-2024 season. At 23, he's a full Italian international, and he joins Real Madrid to bring a burst of energy and speed, after playing the last three seasons in Germany.
KRÄMER
Myjava, Slovakia (14/01/1997)
Born in Slovakia, but a German international, Krämer was Real Madrid's second signing for next season. He plays as a forward, and arrives at the club from La Laguna Tenerife. He strengthens our roster as a world champion, having clinched the 2023 World Cup with his national team.
MALEDON
Ruan, France (12/06/2001)
The versatile 24-year-old has experience in Europe and the NBA. Last season, he enjoyed a strong campaign with ASVEL Villeurbanne, averaging 17 points per game in the EuroLeague, and being named in the competition's second All-Star team. He also plays as an international for France.
