NEWS.

Théo Maledon is officially a Real Madrid player. Our team's new point guard spoke to Realmadrid TV and reflected on his excitement to get started with his new club: “I was thrilled when I found out Real Madrid wanted me. I felt really grateful to know my name was on the table. Signing for Real Madrid means a lot. Having the chance to represent these colours means a lot. I can't wait to start competing."

“I wanted to come to Real Madrid for lots of reasons. It's a hugely successful club both in Europe and in Spain. It's a challenge and having the opportunity to compete at a club like this is hugely exciting for me. I want to bring my personality, my character on and off court. I hope to win loads of games and trophies here."

Goals
“My aim is to form a good bond with the team, develop great chemistry, because that's what helps you win as many titles as possible. I'm still very young but I feel like I have a lot of experience. I carry that all with me, it's driven me to be the best version of myself. I think I'm playing the best basketball of my career right now."

His attributes as a player
“I'm a point guard who can also play at number 2. I'm a versatile player, capable of playing with and without the ball. I can shoot, dribble, draw fouls and compete in offense and defense."

The squad's experience
“I think it's amazing to have so many players with such great experience. Being so young, I think it's a perfect chance to learn from them as much as I can, and to keep developing and progressing in my career."

The fans
“I remember the game I played at the Movistar Arena this season, I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to play in front of our fans, compete hard and represent this jersey to the best of my ability."
