Victoria University students pay visit to European University sports facilities

Students enrolled on the master's in Sports Management and Sports Science are enjoyed a two-week stay, during which they will attend various masterclasses and visits related to their specialisms.

Students from the College of Sport & Exercise Science at Victoria University (Australia) recently paid a visit to the spacious, state-of-the-art sports facilities at the Madrid European University. Students from the Masters in Sports Management and Sports Science are enjoying a two-week stay as part of the partnership agreement between the two institutions in the framework of a special programme with the Real Madrid Graduate School-European University.
 
Andy Stewart, dean of the College of Sport & Exercise Science at Victoria University, and Fabio Serpiello, who oversees the Sports Science programme, also visited the Madrid European University, where they took part in an exchange with Simone Sato, dean of the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences & Physiotherapy.
 
During the course of their first week, students on the master's in Sports Management have had the chance to attend various masterclasses and visits related to the management and operation of sports complexes. Meanwhile, the students enrolled on the Sports Science course have had access to masterclasses related to the scouting and development of talent. In the second week, the two groups have come together to attend masterclasses on leadership. This is the first international trip these students have made since the outbreak of the pandemic.
