Benzema claims 2021/22 Champions League Player of the Season award

UEFA's technical observer panel has named Karim Benzema as the 2021/22 Champions League Player of the Season. The Frenchman played a key role as the team clinched the club's Decimocuarta , notching 15 goals in his 12 competition outings.

As well as being the leading goal scorer in this season's Champions League, Benzema turned in some sublime performances, such as his three-goal hauls against PSG and Chelsea.
