The Whites will have home court advantage in a best of three series.

Real Madrid will go head-to-head against Baxi Manresa in the league quarter-final playoffs in a best of three series, with Pablo Laso’s charges having home court advantage. The series will get underway at the WiZink Center between 24 and 27 May, the second clash will be played on Manresa’s court on either the 28th or 29th, and if necessary, the third match will again take place at the Palacio on either the 30th or 31st, with the exact dates to be confirmed by the ACB.

Having finished second in the Regular League season, the madridistas will now take on the seventh-placed team in the standings. Manresa finished with a record of 20 wins and 14 defeats, as one of the surprise packages of the campaign. They are now back in the playoffs for the first time in three years. Pedro Martínez's troops, who recently finished runners-up in the Basketball Champions League, boast the best attack in the competition (88.1 points per game) and are the second most highly valued team after Real Madrid. Moneke, Bako and Thomasson spearhead a team that is very physical and energetic in its play.

Previous meetings
This will be the fourth time the two teams have crossed paths in the quarter-finals, with Madrid emerging victorious on the previous three occasions. In the 1993-94 season, the Whites won 2-1; in 1996-97, they prevailed 3-0; and in 2018-19, they ran out 3-0 winners. The two sides have also locked horns on another occasion in a league playoffs. In the semi-finals of the 1997-98 season, Manresa triumphed 3-1. In the present campaign, they have each won once. Laso's charges took the honours at the Nou Congost on matchday 17 (87-92) and Baxi Manresa triumphed at the WiZink Center on matchday 25 (75-86).
