Zidane: “We didn't let our intensity drop and that shows our character"

“We'll keep going; there are two games left and we'll go to the end, until the final minute, we'll give it our all”, said the coach.
Real Madrid got the better of Granada to continue in the hunt for the LaLiga title. Following the final whistle, Zidane spoke to the media in the press room, reflecting: "It's not just about the goals. We played very well, defensively too. We started the game very well, it was a complete performance. I say that because at 1-2 we didn't let our intensity drop, we scored again quickly and that shows our character. Thibaut made 2 or 3 saves, as he has been doing lately, but it's all good. In general terms it was a good win against a decent side at a tough place to come, because Granada are a side who have had a fantastic year".

“We'll keep going; there are two games left and we'll go to the end, until the final minute, we'll give it our all. Marvin picked up a knock. I hope it's nothing serious but yes, he felt something in his hamstring. The referee is out there, I'm not the referee. He's in charge and he tries to do his best. That's all there is to it. Things happen out on the pitch, there are clashes, but we're not going to change that. I'm not the referee”.

Miguel's performance
"Miguel got his chance today because Marcelo and Ferland were unavailable. He's one of our players. Miguel is with us for the time being, he's performed very well and I'm happy for him and happy for the team. We're going to give our all until the last kick of the season. We're going to give it everything like we did today and we'll see what happens".

Marcelo out
"Marcelo didn't play because of an injury and we didn't want to take any risks, as always. The injury is the reason why he didn't come with us. That's all. All the team, Miguel, Marvin... everyone put in a very good performance, solid, from the start. I think we deserved our win".
