The two institutions, both of whom are leaders in the sector, have joined forces to offer students a highly specialised, international programme.
The Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea and Florida International University (FIU) have signed a collaboration agreement that offers students exclusive benefits, such as the partnership and experience of these two major institutions, which are experts within the higher education and online fields, as well as Real Madrid, the Best Club of 20th Century. This exciting link-up has been launched with the signing of the first agreement between a US and Spanish university that allows students to gain two Master's qualifications and brings together the world's leading postgraduate programmes in the field of sports and management.

The Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea's Executive MBA in Sports Management, which is the leading course of its kind in Spain and the third in Europe, features amongst the top 10 courses globally, according to Sports Business Postgraduate Rankings 2020. Meanwhile, the FIU's Professional MBA Online has been ranked by the QS World University Rankings 2020 as the third-best MBA in the United States and lies ninth in the global standings.

Partnership
In the words of Emilio Butragueño, director of institutional relations at Real Madrid and general director at the Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea, "This agreement will allow the students to enjoy two programmes that are recognised within the academic world and enjoy the Real Madrid experience through contact with the club's professionals. It's an honour for the Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea to be involved in the first programme of this partnership between these two major universities".

The joint programme, which is to be conducted fully in English, offers FIU students the possibility to specialise in the field of sports management, as well as obtaining the corresponding qualification from the Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea in the space of just 17 months.

The agreement enables students to secure the Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea's Executive MBA in Sports Management and the FIU's
Professional MBA Online.

During their studies, students will be able to develop an academic and professional CV featuring the essential knowledge and skills required for leadership within the profession. The programme offers access to the main leaders within the sports industry, as well as an insight into day-to-day operations at Real Madrid.

Programme
During the fortnight to be spent in Madrid, students will receive training from the leading figures from across the European sports industry and Real Madrid. Meanwhile, they will also take part in visits to sporting organisations and attend masterclasses, whilst getting the chance to share debate with the institutions' bosses. The students will also share some of the experience with colleagues from across the school's various campuses. The programme also features two intensive training days in Miami which focus on recruitment, networking, seminars, employment and team-building
