"It's a special day, I feel very proud and happy", said the Norwegian.
Martin Odegaard replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in the 57th minute of the match against Getafe and in the process became the youngest La Liga debutant in Real Madrid's history, the Norwegian midfielder claiming the record at the age of 16 years and 157 days.

Before Odegaard, the most youthful Madrid player to make his La Liga bow was Losada, who was 17 years and 6 days old when he appeared in a game against Sporting in the 1984/85 season. The next on the list is Alberto Rivera at 17 years and 111 days. Rivera found the net on the day of his debut, and is Real Madrid's youngest ever league goalscorer.

Odegaard: “I feel very proud and very happy”
"I was a little bit nervous about playing in front of so many people, but I tried to enjoy the moment. It's a special day, I feel very proud and very happy. I've had a really good time in my first season at Real Madrid and I've felt very comfortable".
