Jones: “My priority is to help the team win”

Damian Jones is now a new player of Real Madrid. The center gave his first interview to Realmadrid TV: “I chose Real Madrid because of the weight of its history. It's an incredible history, one of the greatest legacies in Europe. It's wonderful to be here and to try to win titles.”

“The history behind and everything surrounding Real Madrid is amazing. I’m looking forward to playing in front of the fans and having a great season. Also, it’s exciting because one of my former college teammates played here, Jeff Taylor. It’s great.”
Attributes
“As a player, I’m athletic, capable of defending a point guard, and defending in multiple positions. I can create open spaces and drive to the basket. I can also catch alley-oops and be a threat in pick-and-roll situations.”
Goals
“My personal goals are, above all, to help the team win. That is my main priority. My aim is to help everyone win and do whatever it takes to achieve that. When I left the NBA, I thought about playing in the EuroLeague at some point. It’s a great competition, and I’m looking forward to playing in it, as well as in the league.”
