Real Madrid will discover their opponents in the last 16 of the Champions League on Monday, 18 December, at the draw which will be held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon (12pm CET). Ancelotti's side will be seeded after finishing top of Group C and will face one of the following teams: Copenhagen, PSV, Inter, Porto, PSG, Lazio or Leipzig.

Real Madrid will play the first leg away on either 13, 14, 20 or 21 February. The return leg will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on 5, 6, 12 or 13 March. The draw will consist of two pots with the top eight teams in the group and the second eight teams in the group. No team will be allowed to play against another side from the same Federation or against a team they have already played in the Group Stage.
