As we approach the final stretch of the season, the fixture list becomes even more congested for Real Madrid. Less than 72 hours after their home win against Celta, Ancelotti‘s boys face another league clash – this time away at the Montilivi stadium where they will go head-to-head with Girona on matchday 31 of the campaign 7.30pm CET.

This will be the Whites’ final away game of April – a month which has seen Madrid in fine form on their travels. The madridistas have won three times away from home Camp Nou, Nuevo Mirandilla and Stamford Bridge without conceding a goal. They are also on a four-match run of clean sheets two against Chelsea, Cádiz and Celta.
"Girona play some beautiful football and they're a well-organised team with the ball", said Ancelotti in the press conference ahead of the clash. The Italian coach will be missing AlabaMendyHazardBenzema and Ceballos in his squad for the game.

Girona
Míchel‘s side have had a great season and go into the matchday in 11th position, with a record of 10 wins, 8 draws and 12 defeats. The Catalans have only lost four times on home soil so far this league season.
