Looking to put three points on the board at the Santiago Bernabéu
Real Madrid welcome Valencia for the postponed LaLiga matchday 17 encounter (9:00pm CET)
Real Madrid take on Valencia at the Santiago Bernabéu in the opening fixture of a busy month of February. Tonight, our team play the game which was postponed to accommodate the Spanish Super Cup and will be hoping to start this week's LaLiga double-header off on the right foot, before a visit to Mallorca on Sunday.
The game will be the second time the sides lock horns in less than a month. Carlo Ancelotti's charges came out on top in the penalty shootout against the Valencian outfit in the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals. This time, Real Madrid and Valencia meet at the Bernabéu, where our boys remain unbeaten so far this season.

"The team is confident and we're going to fight for everything", stated Ancelotti in the pre-match press conference. The Italian welcomes back Carvajal and Tchouameni into a squad which also contains Karim Benzema. The captain has scored five times in his last three LaLiga home games against Valencia.
The opposition
Real Madrid's opponents come to the Bernabéu with Voro at the helm following Gennaro Gattuso recent departure. Valencia currently sit fourteenth in the table with a record of five wins, five draws and eight defeats. Cavani is their leading goal scorer in the competition, with five to his name.
