Another away game for Real Madrid, this time in LaLiga. After securing a place in the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey against Villarreal, we visit San Mamés on league match-day 18 9.00 pm CET. Carlo Ancelotti's side will be looking to seal a week of victories in a very demanding outing.

San Mamés will experience a new edition of a historic rivalry in LaLiga. Real Madrid will be out for all three points to stay in the fight for the lead and to continue their streak at the Bilbao stadium. They have gone seven games unbeaten in the league, five of which have been victories.

"We have to play with intensity, imagination and not make any mistakes," Carlo Ancelotti said at the pre-match press conference. The Italian is travelling to Bilbao with the following players, including Benzema. The captain has scored 18 goals against Athletic in all competitions and has also scored the most against Athletic over all competitions. In fact, he has seven goals in his last six meetings with the Basque side.
