Casillas, Arbeloa, Roberto Carlos and Felipe Reyes supporting the Foundation's donation campaign for Ukraine
The Real Madrid Foundation's deputy director general, Iker Casillas, as well as club ambassadors Álvaro Arbeloa, Roberto Carlos and Felipe Reyes, have used their social networks to encourage people to donate to the Foundation's donation campaign for Ukraine.
Roberto Carlos, who in September inaugurated one of the schools in Ukraine, sent a message of support to the children in the Real Madrid Foundation's schools in the country, and to the employees and monitors at Epicenter for Children and Epicentr K: "I'm following the events unfolding with enormous concern and have been thinking back to my visit last September. I send you peace, patience, and all my love and support in these difficult times. I'd like to send you all a big hug and I'll see you soon.
Arbeloa, who was in Ukraine to open the first schools in October 2018, also shared this message of warmth: "I would like to send a big hug from afar to all the children in Ukraine. You are in our prayers and you are of, of course, in our hearts".
Thanks to the campaign, there has been huge support for the Ukrainian people, with funds going to the Red Cross, UNHCR, Cesal, Salesian Missions and Epicenter for children, the Foundation's partners that have teams on the ground. You can donate here.
