Laso: “Well done to the team for the victory, it was well deserved”
'It was a really tough game and it’s not easy to play in Monaco”, said Yabusele after his side’s win.
Pablo Laso and Guerschon Yabusele analysed Real Madrid’s win away at Monaco, which was decided after two overtime periods. After the clash the Madrid coach had the following to say: “Well done to the team for the victory. It was a well-deserved victory. We didn’t play brilliantly and with 22 turnovers it’s difficult to have control of the game. Later we moved the ball well, we managed to keep their shooting percentages down and we were able to see it out. It was quite a good performance, but with so many turnovers it makes it tough. I’m pleased with the win because we know how difficult it is to beat this side who had won their previous four games”.
“Yabusele and Poirier played very consistently. They both did a lot of things well, like scoring, rebounding, defending and achieving double-doubles apiece. These numbers say a lot about their performances. Yabusele also gave us a lot of energy when we needed it and I'm really pleased for both of them”.
