Laso: “The way we started was crucial”
NEWS.
Pablo Laso gave his thoughts on Real Madrid's win against Casademont Zaragoza in round 18 of the season: "We went in to the game very well. The way we started was crucial to the outcome of the game and made the difference in the match. We have to give the players a lot of credit for that. It was important to set the defensive tone, establish control and do the basics of the game, after having playing so many games so closely together, with so much intensity and after having stopped for a while. That allowed us to take a big lead from the first quarter and from there on we were able to maintain it throughout the game. I'm happy with the win".

"There is no fixed criteria about who's going to play. We knew that Poirier could cause problems defensively and offensively and he performed very well. Bringing on Thompkins, Randolph and Yabusele allowed us rotation. We were able to find them and they put in a very well-rounded performance".

Consistency
"This team competes every day. We could have won or lost, even in the Barça game we could have won. We have to draw the good and the bad from everyone, but the thing that I'm most proud of is the team's competitive attitude".
