The project is carried out in collaboration with Manos Unidas and Las Esclavas del Divino Corazón.
The beneficiaries of the Real Madrid Foundation social sports school in Luena (Angola), which runs with the support of the Manos Unidas and Las Esclavas del Divino Corazón organisations, have resumed their social sports activities with training sessions and education on values that now begin with the now essential hand sanitisation. Hygiene, masks and safety distancing are a key component for these first students who are returning to social sports activities.
At the end of June, the foundation's trainers gave the coaches at the Luena school the online course on values and sport that characterises all the entity's projects. Subsequently, sports equipment was given to the beneficiaries who are to begin at the school. Light refreshments have been replaced with basic food baskets to help the families most affected by the confinement.

Educational programmes
The social sports project in Luena, which began in February 2016, serves nearly 200 boys and girls who learn the values of football and basketball. In addition, they can also benefit from a digital literacy education programme, health prevention training and medical examinations.
