Spagnolo becomes the 14th academy graduate to make his debut under Laso

The Junior point guard came on for the final minute of the win over Casademont Zaragoza.

Matteo Spagnolo made his Real Madrid basketball first team debut at 17 years and a month old, to become the fourteenth youth team product to do so in Pablo Laso's time on the Whites' bench. The Italian point guard, who plays for the Júnior side, got 36 seconds on court against Casademont Zaragoza, as the madridistas won the game 92-70

In his nine seasons with Real Madrid, Laso has handed debuts to Dani Díez, Alberto Martín, Willy Hernangómez, Jonathan Barreiro, Luka Doncic, Santiago Yusta, Dino Radoncic, Samba Ndiaye, De la Rua, Melwin Pantzar, Mario Nakic, Usman Garuba, Boris Tisma and now, Matteo Spagnolo.
