Luka Modric played his 300th match for Real Madrid in the game against Athletic at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Croatian, who reaches this figure in his seventh season with the first team, where he has recorded 202 wins and scored 17 goals, received a commemorative shirt from the hands of President Florentino Pérez at the end of the match.
His 300 appearances have come across the following six competitions: LaLiga (197), the Champions League (68), the Copa del Rey (21), the Club World Cup (six), the UEFA Super Cup (four) and the Spanish Super Cup (four). His best seasons in terms of appearances were the 2012/13 (53) and 2013/4 (51) campaigns. So far this term, Modric has featured 43 times, with these outings yielding 26 wins and four goals. Since making his debut for the club back in the 2012/13 season, he has lifted four Champions League crowns, four Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, a LaLiga title and a Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
