"Scoring and having the team win is special but the tie is not over", said the forward.
Cristiano Ronaldo passed the 100-goal mark for Real Madrid in the Champions League during the match against PSG. The top scorer in the history of the European Cup reached the 101 mark with his double against PSG, a number which he reached in his ninth season at the club, after playing 95 games for the Whites in the top continental competition.

The Portuguese forward showed his satisfaction: "Scoring and having the team win is special. I scored twice and helped towards the win but the tie is not over. We need to win in Paris and score goals to progress".

"It was an important win. We started well but they scored. The Champions League is like that. Real Madrid have the experience, the game is 90 minutes and we wanted a good result at home. We have an advantage for the next leg".

"We wanted to score before the break but knew PSG would be dangerous, they have good forwards. We knew we needed to pressure them to get the ball back. In the second half we expected it, we got more chances and scored two goals".

"The fans helped a lot. We felt their warmth and we have to be in the Champions League because Real Madrid loves this competition. The Bernabéu was spectacular".
Praise for Marcelo
"His goal was key and he played spectacularly. He deserves it".
