The Real Madrid striker struck his sixth goal in the competition in the game against Al Jazira.
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to prove that he's the greatest player in the world. In Real Madrid's 2017 Club World Cup bow, against Al Jazira, he fired home the Whites' first of the game to become the competition's all-time leading goalscorer with six goals to his name (five of which were scored for Real Madrid and one for Manchester United). Coming in behind the Portuguese forward in the standings are Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and César Delgado (Monterrey), who have all found the net on five occasions.

The Ballon d'Or winner has featured in four Club World Cup tournaments and has been on target in three different editions. As a Real Madrid player he has now netted in this year's competition, whilst he got his name on the scoresheet in 2016 in the meetings with Club América and Kashima Antlers. He claimed a hat-trick against the Japanese outfit, with Luis Suárez and the Portuguese hitman being the only players to have struck trebles in the competition. He was also amongst the goals for Manchester United in the 2008 tournament.
