El Mundo says: “Real Madrid conquer the Tenth”. In the subtitle they underline the brilliant performances from Ramos and Di María, describing them as "heroes". El País states that "Real Madrid are worth 10. They have won the Tenth. Ramos equalised just before the whistle and goals from Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano in extra time crushed Atlético".

Another mainstream newspaper, ABC, has the headline: "Heroic Tenth. The Whites claimed the title (4-1) in an agonising match against an Atlético full of courage and passion". La Razón described Real Madrid as "European greats for the tenth time. The result was a fair reflection on the two teams in the final".
Germany
This country's media also hailed a final that will go down in history. Bild speaks of a "crazy match. 4-1 from 0-1. Bale and Ronaldo struck against Atlético in extra time". In their match report, Die Welt said: "The team managed by Carlo Ancelotti won 4-1 and celebrated a historic victory. For the tenth time, Madrid were crowned kings of European football". Sport.de described it as a "Perfect Tenth. A dramatic final crowned Real Madrid with their tenth European title".
United Kingdom
The Guardian mentions its compatriot: “Gareth Bale inspires Real Madrid's extra-time barrage to crush Atlético”. The Daily Mail headlines: “The Prince of Wales is crowned the King of Europe”. The BBC, meanwhile, describes how the Whites “win their tenth European Cup in Lisbon”.
The rest of Europe
L'Equipe highlight Madrid's heroism: “A very tough Tenth”. Portugal, the country that hosted the Champions League final, also paid tribute ot the Whites. A Bola headlines: “The Tenth was in Lisbon”.
In Italy, La Gazzetta dello Sport focuses on the Real Madrid manager: “Ancelotti at the top of Europe. Bale, Marcelo and Ronaldo seal the match after a Ramos goal that took the match into extra time”. In Croatia, the newspaper Sportske Novosti headlines: "Real Madrid win a historic Tenth. Luka Modric, the eighth Croat at the top of Europe".
Other continents
The New York Times also echoes the Tenth: "Bale seals Champions League title for Real Madrid". The Argentine newspaper Olé headlined: "Real Madrid lift the cup". And they include some statements from Di María in which he says: "Everything turned upside-down and finishing like this fills me with pride".
