One of the areas in which Gonzalo Higuain has stood out most this season is in opening the scoring. The Whites' forward, who has scored 15 goals in la Liga, has scored Real Madrid's first goal on 10 occasions. He's the player on the squad to have done so most times, ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has managed it nine times. In addition, Higuain is having a lot of success in away matches.
