A very complete player: powerful, fast and aggressive. A good defender who likes go forward. He is able to penetrate down the right side dangerously and is very strong as the last man.
He is also a player who is good at reaching the goal line and has very good ball control. He can dribble with ease past his marker. All these characteristics earned him a place in the Uruguayan U-20s.
