HOW TO FORM AN OFFICIAL MADRIDISTA FAN CLUB

If you wish to establish an Official Madridista Fan Club, you must contact the Real Madrid Fan Clubs Department via email.

In this initial communication, you must indicate the locality, province, region, and country where the Fan club is intended to be established, so the Fan Clubs Department can assess the feasibility and verify that the established territorial requirements are met.

Requirements for the creation of an Official Madridista Fan Club

1. Name and identifiers

The new Fan club must have:

  • Identifying name.
  • Logo or emblem.

Both the name and the design must be reviewed and approved in advance by the Real Madrid Fan Clubs Department.

2. Minimum number of members

The Fan club must consist of a minimum of 50 adults.

Additionally, the following specific requirements must be met depending on the location:

  • Community of Madrid: At least 25 members must be Real Madrid CF Members.
  • Rest of Spain: At least 10 members must hold the Madridista Premium Card.
  • Outside Spain: At least 10 members must hold the Madridista Premium Card.

3. Legal constitution

  • In Spain:
    • The Fan club must be formally constituted as a Non-profit Association, in accordance with current legal legislation (Organic Law 1/2002).
  • Abroad:
    • Fan clubs located outside Spain must be constituted under the legal form equivalent to a "Non-profit Association" according to their local regulations. If the legislation in their country does not contemplate this figure or presents particularities, the Fan Clubs Department will analyze the situation and indicate, in each case, the steps to follow and the alternative documents necessary to formally register and recognize the Fan club as official.

Once the Fan club is registered and recognized by Real Madrid, all its members must formalize their registration with the Official Fan Club Card issued by the Club.

4. Territorial limitations

No new Fan clubs will be authorized in localities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants if an Official Madridista Fan Club already exists.

5. Application procedure

Once the application email is received, the Fan Clubs Department will provide the necessary instructions to complete the process, as well as sample templates for the Foundational Act, the Association Bylaws, and the Fan Club Regulations.

Due to the high number of applications received from various countries, authorization timelines may be extended.
