The Peña was officially established on 02-22-1959 although there was already a group of Madrid friends who met in Tertulia. Its current headquarters is in Residencial Plaza Real, in a place under the property of La Peña. We have come to have more than four hundred partners. Apart from following our Real Madrid we carry out all kinds of activities related to culture, sport in Lorca, in solidarity acts and with NGOs. Years ago we started working at the Soccer School, and today we have five federated teams of prebenjamines, benjamines, and fry, as well as a football school. In these fifty -five years, the Real Madrid Ciudad del Sol has had five presidents. We are currently working on the publication of a quarterly magazine that serves as a link between La Peña and its partners.
