On March 17, 1992, Real Madrid played in Nantes (France), the final of the Basketball Recopa in front of the PAOK of Salares, where we won by 65-63 in the last second with a basket of Ricky Brown. There some Madrid fans who decided to associate to help our club with their songs in all the meetings. In this way, we were growing until we reached a figure close to the 300 fans, something unthinkable in basketball, which copied the North Fund of the Sports Palace. The first trip made by the eyes of the Tiger went to Valladolid in 1993, it would be the first of the numerous that have been made, especially to the final phases of the Copa del Rey where our presence year after year is almost safe. But if there is a special trip that was the one we made to Zaragoza in 1995 on the occasion of the Final Four (the second we went to after Athens in 1993) in which Madrid would win its eighth European Cup. That was the moment of maximum splendor, but also the beginning of the decline. The continuous changes of the team headquarters (Palacio de los Deportes, Pavilion Multipurpose Torrejón de Ardoz, Pavilion Raimundo Saporta, Vistalegre Palace ...) and some internal problems reduced the number of associates to only seven, putting the association in a very delicate situation. Before this situation, in 2002 it was decided to undertake a restructuring that soon pays off. Of these seven partners, more than 30 is passed in just two years, the Barcelona section is recovered (one of the 5 that came to exist) and becomes (already in 2004) the first, and so far, unique, Official Peña of the Real Madrid of Basketball. In addition, on February 2, 2005, the official website of the Peña that has already has more than 6,000 visits would be created.
