Eibar's Real Madrid Rock is one of the 7 official clubs that Real Madrid has in the province of Guipúzcoa, the second most veteran, behind Irún's. In November 1996 he acquired a rental regime. It was in April 1997 when he received official notification from Real Madrid in which he was recognized as the official club of the club.In January 1998, and being President D. Lorenzo Sanz, we received the visit of, at that time, Vice President Mr. Onieva together with several managers. A month later the first official displacement of the Peña was organized to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, Act which is still being held annually. What the first trip was in February 1998 to witness the Real Madrid - Mallorca meeting. On February 1999 we acquired a place in property that in March 2014 we have finished paying. We have had to make a hard effort all soci@s for 15 years but it is finally an own place of which we are very proud. It is our current registered office. But it was in June 2001 when the most prominent event of the Peña was organized and this was none other than the meeting that was played in the field of Ipurua among the veteran teams of Real Madrid and the S.D. Eibar, being this the first time that the Real Madrid veterans team played in the Basque Country and the first time veterans of the S.D. Eibar got together to play a game and from which they were constituted as an association. The experience was unforgettable. On January 2004 and on the occasion of the cupboard match between the S.D Eibar and Real Madrid visited our headquarters several directors of the club together with the head of the department of Peñas and its sports director, Mr. Jorge Valdano.In June 2014 the team of our town, the S.D. Eibar achieved an unprecedented event in its history: the 2nd 'A' division championship and therefore the promotion to the highest category of Spanish football. Since many ties with the club have been narrowed and every time Real Madrid visits our city, a meeting of Real Madrid Peñas is held in the Basque Country that becomes a real party. They visit us responsible for the department of Peñas, club managers, and on occasion they have shared moments with us D. Emilio Butragueño and President D. Florentino Pérez. In this year 2020 La Peña turns 25 and the situation we are living has forced us to postpone which type of celebration act for later. We hope to do it as all the soci@s deserves together with the people of the club.
