In a country that the Madrid players inevitably refer to the name of Michael Laudrup, there are many people who today faithfully follow Real Madrid. '99% are Danes and many already have our Madrid card,' said Jean. The President is Jesper Frost-Hansen. Thanks to their work and the collaboration of the founding partners they have managed to create a rock that already has 300 members. Faithful to its origin, its main activity is the website www.madridista.dk, which receives more than 10,000 daily visits and includes a bimonthly edition of the ‘Real Magazine’, an online magazine in Danish in which they try to cover all aspects related to the club: reports on current players and mythical figures, news about upcoming signings, analysis articles, basketball. Being such a recent rock are full of plans and illusions. Among their activities they organize a Christmas party for all its members and participation in the Fan Cup Tournament in Denmark, organized by the English teams. In 2010, La Peña Madrid's Denmark was in third place. The Peña team was composed of, goalkeeper Zaya, the defenses Christian, Claus and Gustav, the midfielders Simon and Lucas, and the strikers Oteen and Kamal. One of the best memories of the former president was 'to witness such an important party of Real Madrid, as the final of‘ La Seventima ’. For many of our members the biggest dream is to step on a legendary field and meet our idols in person.' They are so long in the bars of Copenhagen, Århus and Odense (the three largest cities in Denmark) to enjoy the Real Madrid parties together. 'Fortunately, Spanish football is very popular in Denmark,' says Jean. And proudly demonstrates that being of Real Madrid is a vocation, something that 'is carried in the blood.'
