The first madridistas in Minsk started getting together to watch our games back in 2005. As time wore on, the number of fans continued to grow, and in 2008, when Belarusian club BATE Borisov were drawn in the same Champions League group as Real Madrid, the madridista community in Belarus developed even further.

That's when the idea of forming an official supporters club arose. Then, in 2010, following numerous meetings and trips together, we decided to take the next step and found the Uros Blancos Madridista Supporters Club, with the aim of representing Real Madrid in our country, following the team at different stadiums, and sharing our passion in general.
The club was officially founded on 26 June 2010.
The name is a reflection of our identity. Uro is a reference to the wild bull, the old symbol of Belarus, while Blanco represents our beloved team. What's more, our country's historic name, Belarus, means White Russia, and we often make the joke that we live in Los Blancos country.
We currently have over 350 members, with representatives in all of Belarus' regional capitals and several other members living abroad in countries including Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States and more.
Real Madrid has more fans than any other team in the world, and now we're a few more in Belarus. For the Champions League finals, we managed to get over 600 people together, and it could have been more if we'd have found big enough premises.
This was the largest number ever gathered in Belarus to watch a match involving a foreign team.
We are a travelling club, too. Our members have attended games all over Europe and each year, we organise a trip for 50-100 people to go and see an accessible fixture in terms of ticket availability.
As our president Vladimir Matchoulski says: "Every madridista in Belarus' greatest wish is to see the team of their dreams at the stadium, and our mission is to make that dream come true."
Every game is full of unforgettable moments, but for us, the most special match-ups were BATE Borisov vs. Real Madrid on 25 November 2008, and the clash with CSKA Moscow, played at -20°C.
Over the years, we've become well known as a club that embodies the values of madridismo. That's helped us develop fantastic relationships with the several bars, restaurants and companies we collaborate with.
We have also forged a network of friendship with other supporters clubs, both inside and outside Spain. Most notable, are our links with the clubs in Salamanca, Zaragoza and the Federación de Peñas
Madridistas de Cataluña, as well as international clubs including the Hungarian Madridista Supporters Club, the Munich branch and the Russian End.
Our club also has friendly links with the Manchester United supporters club in Belarus. Despite supporting different teams, we share a passion for football, which has led us to organise a series of events together - all from a basis of respect and a love for sport that come before any rivalry.
We feel proud to represent Real Madrid in Belarus and share our passion with other madridistas around the world.
Hala Madrid!
