Celtic coach Ange Postecoglou and midfielder Matt O’Riley spoke at the press conference at the Santiago Bernabéu the day ahead of the clash against Real Madrid 6:45 pm CET. The coach said the following: “We’re looking forward to this game because it’s historic. We’re proud to be able to play against one of the biggest teams in the world and I hope it’s a memorable match for everyone, especially for our fans”.

“We’re expecting a great atmosphere. It’s one of the most iconic stadiums in the world. They’re always games to remember, it’s an amazing experience. We’re looking forward to this experience”.

Real Madrid’s recent results
“When you play against Real Madrid you never expect it not to be difficult, regardless of the results they’ve had before. We’re expecting a tough game tomorrow. They still have something to fight for in the Champions League. We’re expecting them to be at their best and the same goes for us”.

O'Riley: “We’ll try to play our game”
“It’s amazing to be here. We have to do everything we can to get a good result. In the first five games we’ve played our game and we have to try to do the same tomorrow. We’ve been better than the other teams on several occasions, but we have less experience than the others and perhaps that’s why we’ve struggled a bit more”.

Modrić or Kroos
“I don’t mind to be honest. They’re both world-class players and it’s an honour for me to be able to share this experience with them. I can learn a lot from players of this quality and it’s amazing to be able to be up against them”.
