Results for Real Madrid players called up to represent their national teams

The following Real Madrid players have been called up to represent their national teams for the September international fixtures. Carvajal, Joselu and Kepa Spain, Bellingham England, Camavinga and Tchouameni France, Alaba Austria, Rüdiger Germany, Modrić Croatia, Lunin Ukraine, Rodrygo Brazil, and Valverde Uruguay all face Euro 2024 and World Cup 2026 qualifiers and friendlies. 

 

Carvajal, Joselu and Kepa have been called up by Spain for two Euro 2024 qualifiers. Spain beat Georgia emphatically with Carvajal starting and Joselu coming on in the 72nd minute. In the second match, both players starred in the thrashing of Cyprus. Joselu scored and assisted one, while Carvajal set up another two. Kepa was not involved in the games.

 

The French national side has called up Tchouameni and Camavinga. Both Madrid players featured in the victory over the Irish team. The first started the game and opened the scoring with a stunner while the latter came on for the closing stages. They both started as their country was defeated by Rüdiger's Germany side.
 

David Alaba played the second half of a friendly against Moldova, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Austria also had a Euro qualifier which ended in victory over Sweden, with Alaba back in the starting XI.

 

England, with Bellingham in their squad, have a European Championship qualifier and a friendly lined up. The competitive game was hosted in Poland ande ended in a draw against Lunin's Ukraine. The midfielder started and played 65 minutes. Against Scotland, the madridista spearheaded his country's win with a goal and an assist.

 

Rüdiger has been named in Germany's squad for two friendlies. In the first, the madridista started and played the full 90, a defeat against Japan. Three days later, Rüdiger played for Germany as they beat a France side containing Camavinga and Tchouameni.

 

Ukraine have called up Lunin for their two UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers. The Madrid goalkeeper did not feature in the draw against Bellingham's England, nor in the defeat to Italy.

 

Rodrygo kicked off the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a brace in a home win over Bolivia. In the win over Peru the forward played the full game.

 

Fede Valverde kicked off the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a stunner against Chile at the Centenario stadium in Montevideo. The madridista played the full 90 minutes in the second game against Ecuador.
