Klopp: 'Real Madrid are huge and nothing gets to them'
'Vinicius showed at Anfield that he's one of the most decisive players in world football', said Fabinho.
Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp and midfielder Fabinho spoke to the press at the Santiago Bernabéu on the eve of the Champions League Round of 16 second leg. The manager explained: 'Real Madrid are huge. They have won so many games in recent years and they don't let anything negative get to them, it's admirable”.
'They have all my respect, they're an incredible team. This generation of players in unbelievable. Modrić could keep playing until he's 45, Kroos still has a lot left, Benzema has another two or three years in him and they have good young players. They are a good team from whom we have learned many lessons. We lost finals and that makes you stronger. Real Madrid have given me several difficult moments that I have learned from'.
Superb match
'Three weeks ago, I said that Real Madrid, with this result, will make the quarter-finals. Now I think there is a game to be played and even if there is only a one percent chance, I want to give it a go. We're up against very tough opponents and we want to win it - it'll be difficult but it's possible. We have too much respect for the competition and for Real Madrid to not want the game to arrive. We can't wait to play'.
Mentality
'If we are able to surprise people negatively, we're also able to spring a positive surprise. We're coming here to win the game and we'll have to play well. Playing just okay won't be enough'.

'We have nothing to lose. That's a better situation than when you have everything to lose. I understand Ancelotti, but I'd rather be in his shoes and have the advantage of defending a three-goal lead. After three weeks, we have to play the match and we're delighted to do so'.
Fabinho: “It's not easy to come to the Bernabéu three goals down”
'Vinicius is in incredible form, since last season he's been one of Madrid's key players. He showed the level he's playing at in the first leg and why he's one of the most decisive players in world football'.
'He pulled his first goal at Anfield from nowhere and it's a real challenge to stop him but if we want to have a chance of making it through the tie we have to do that. It's not easy because he always finds space and does big things in the game. We know he's Madrid's key man”.
Balance
'We have to keep cool. It's not easy to come to a ground like the Bernabéu three goals down but it's important we don't come out too desperate from the start. We are well aware we have to score, create chances, but the most important thing is not to concede. If it's 0-0 at half-time that's a good result because then anything can happen'.
