The Santiago Bernabéu observed a minute's silence before the start of Real Madrid-Granada on LaLiga matchday 15, in memory of Luis Blasco, a member of the board of directors chaired by Florentino Pérez from 2009 to 2015 and a trustee of the Real Madrid Foundation during the same period. He was a member of Real Madrid for 40 years, since 1983. The players wore black armbands to show their respect.
The Bernabéu also paid tribute to Concha Velasco, one of Spain's greatest artists and a 30-year-long member of Real Madrid. The players wore black armbands as a mark of respect.
