Spain thrashed Northern Ireland at Son Moix in the last friendly before the European Championship kicks off on Saturday, when they open their campaign against Croatia (6:00pm CEST). The national team put the game to bed in the first half, in which they overturned Ballard's early goal with goals from Pedri (2), Morata and Fabian. Oyarzabal widened the gap after the break. Nacho, who started and played a part in Spain's opening goal, was substituted in the 52nd minute, with Carvajal coming on after the break and Joselu in the 72nd minute.
