1-0: Rodrygo strike hands victory to Brazil
Vini Jr. was also involved in the World Cup Qualifier against Ecuador.
Brazil came past Ecuador at the Couto Pereira Stadium in Curitiba, taking three points in their World Cup 2026 qualification campaign. A first-half Rodrygo strike was enough to clinch victory for the Brazilians, in a game that saw Vini Jr. involved as well. Both madridistas played the full 90 minutes. Endrick, who is also in the squad, did not feature.
Barely half-an-hour had been played when Rodrygo picked up the ball on the edge of the box. He then cut inside the Ecuadorian defender and unleashed a powerful drive, which caught a visiting player as it flew into the back of the net for the winning goal. Brazil's next game comes against Paraguay at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium in AsunciĆ³n (Wednesday 11, 02:30 am CEST).
