Brazil came past Ecuador at the Couto Pereira Stadium in Curitiba, taking three points in their World Cup 2026 qualification campaign. A first-half Rodrygo strike was enough to clinch victory for the Brazilians, in a game that saw Vini Jr. involved as well. Both madridistas played the full 90 minutes. Endrick, who is also in the squad, did not feature.
Barely half-an-hour had been played when Rodrygo picked up the ball on the edge of the box. He then cut inside the Ecuadorian defender and unleashed a powerful drive, which caught a visiting player as it flew into the back of the net for the winning goal.
