We won our fourth Spanish Supercup 30 years ago
Real Madrid were crowned champions against Barcelona on 16 December 1993 thanks to a 3-1 win at the Bernabeu and a draw at the Nou Camp.
It was on 16 December 1993 that Real Madrid won their fourth Spanish Super Cup. Our team won the first leg, played at the Santiago Bernabéu, 3-1. A brace from Alfonso and a goal from Zamorano cancelled out Stoichkov's opening goal.
In the second leg, held at the Nou Camp, the madridistas drew a game in which they took the lead midway through the first half thanks to a goal by Zamorano.
Bakero scored late in the second half to make it 1-1. That team was coached by Benito Floro and reached the Super Cup after winning the Copa del Rey the previous season.
