Today marks three years since Real Madrid's basketball team lifted their 35th league title. On 21 June 2019, the team got the better of Barcelona at the Palau in Game 4 of the final. Pablo Laso's men got their hands on the trophy with a 3-1 series win, coming out on top in the championship to clinch a fourth league title in five years.
Real Madrid closed out the campaign with a double, after also picking up the Super Cup. Laso's team were much the better side throughout the series with the Blaugranas, sealing it in the fourth game 68-74, with a dominant performance led by Campazzo, the final MVP.
Our team were also top dogs in the Regular Season, with 28 wins and six defeats. In the knockout stages they won every game against Manresa quarter-finals and Valencia Basket semi-final en route to the final.
