The cornerstone for Real Madrid Sport City was laid 19 years ago
Alfredo Di Stéfano and Carvajal took centre stage at this historic event on 12 May 2004,
On 12 May 2004, under the presidency of Florentino Pérez, the laying of the cornerstone of the best sports city in the world took place. Alfredo Di Stéfano and Dani Carvajal were the leading figures in the launch of this project, which is now a source of pride for all madridistas. Inaugurated on 30 September 2005, Real Madrid Sport City has not stopped growing to remain among the elite of international sport.
