Third anniversary of the 11th Basketball European Cup

On May 21, 2023, Real Madrid won the European Cup for the eleventh time in its history. The victory came after defeating Olympiacos in an epic match with a memorable basket by Llull with 3.1 seconds remaining (78-79). Our team achieved glory at the Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas, where Tavares was named MVP of the Final Four.

On the road to the title, Real Madrid overturned a 0-2 deficit in the playoff against Partizan. It was an incredible series that was decided in a memorable fifth game. A brilliant Sergio Rodríguez led the heroic comeback to qualify for the Final Four for the ninth time in 12 years. In the semifinals, we defeated Barça for the second consecutive year in another comeback, with a stellar second half (66-78).
