32 years since club's fourth Spanish Super Cup
On 16 December 1993, Real Madrid were crowned champions against Barcelona after winning 3-1 at the Bernabéu and drawing at the Camp Nou.
On 16 December 1993, Real Madrid claimed their fourth Spanish Super Cup. The Whites won the first leg at the Bernabéu, 3-1. A brace from Alfonso and a goal from Zamorano turned Stoichkov's opening goal around.
In the second leg, held at the Camp Nou, the Madridistas drew a match in which they took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Zamorano's goal.
Late in the second half, Bakero made it 1-1. Benito Floro was the coach of that team and they reached this Super Cup after winning the Copa del Rey the previous season.
