First anniversary of club's 11th European Cup in basketball

On 21 May 2023, the Whites were victorious in the EuroLeague Final Four in Kaunas (78-79).


On 21 May 2023, Real Madrid lifted the European Cup for the eleventh time in their history. They defeated Olympiacos in an unforgettable game with an incredible basket by Llull with 3.1 seconds to go (78-79). The Whites achieved glory at the Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas, where Tavares was named MVP of the Final Four.

On the road to the trophy, Real Madrid came from 0-2 down in the playoffs against Partizan. It was an incredible tie that was decided in a memorable fifth game. An outstanding Sergio Rodríguez commanded the heroic comeback to reach the Final Four for the ninth time in 12 years. In the semi-finals, the Whites beat Barça for the second year in a row, in a game that they also came from behind with a magnificent second half display (66-78).
