One year since the Basketball Super cup was won for the eighth time
Real Madrid beat Barcelona in Tenerife on 12 September 2021.
On 12 September 2021, Real Madrid lifted their eighth Spanish Super Cup. Tenerife's Santiago Martín Pavilion hosted this year's event, in which our team were crowned champions after beating Barcelona in the final. Real Madrid also defended the league championship title for the fourth consecutive season.
Real Madrid beat Barcelona 83-88 in the final with Llull named the MVP of the tournament after finishing with 24 points and 27 PIR in the final. Poirier 16 points and 11 rebounds and Alocén 11 also played a key role in the Super Cup win. Real Madrid had previously beaten Lenovo Tenerife in the semi-final 70-72.
